WHAT IS COUNSELLING?
In life there are occasions when we feel low or trapped in a situation that feels too overwhelming. At times like this counselling can be helpful as you can talk about yourself in a way that you often cannot do with family and friends.
Counselling provides a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space to talk about yourself, your life and anything that maybe confusing, painful or uncomfortable.
We are all affected by life’s journey and may have painful issues that can be limiting us today. I will work with you to identify and understand your difficulties, looking at new ways of approaching them to enable you to make changes.
The counselling process is a positive experience for those wanting to increase their understanding of themselves and develop their self-awareness. However I fully appreciate that it can be challenging and difficult at times and I am here to support you along your journey.
